Inland Morbihan: Josselin, Malestroit and the Nantes-Brest canal

Our campsite near Ploërmel is also an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. In just 25 minutes, you can reach Josselin, famous for its medieval castle and picture-postcard atmosphere. Further south, Malestroit offers cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and lively terraces.

Cycling enthusiasts can follow the Nantes-Brest canal, punctuated byflower-filled locks and rural rest stops. A perfect idea for a family day out: picnic, bike, then ice cream in Ploërmel before returning home. How do I get to Ploërmel from Camping d’Aleth?

From Camping d’Aleth in Saint-Malo-de-Beignon, allow around 20 minutes’ drive. Take the D773 towards Guer, then the N24 towards Ploërmel. Exit at D766E, follow Rue de Ronsouze thenAvenue du Bois to the town center.

What are the arrival and departure times?

For pitches, arrival 4pm-8pm and departure before 12pm (please bring 50m of cable + European adapter).
For rentals, arrival 4pm-8pm, departure before 10am. One parking space is included. The gate opens from 8.30am to 9pm.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, 1 pet (dog or cat) is allowed per accommodation, on a leash and with an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed. Pets do not sleep in bedrooms: only in the living area.

Which payment methods are accepted?

You can pay for your stay by credit card, ANCV vacation vouchers or cash. Bank transfers are also available for early bookings.

Is there evening entertainment? Is it noisy?

Yes, in high season, the campsite organizes themed evenings: folk concerts, Breton storytelling and harp concerts. The atmosphere remains calm and family-friendly: silence is respected from 11pm to 7am, in accordance with the campsite rules.

Payment, reservation & insurance: how does it work?

For pitches, full payment is required on booking. For rentals, a 50% deposit is required, followed by the balance on D-30. You can take outCampez Couvert insurance (4%) for peace of mind and coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
