What’s the Nordic bath experience like during your stay?
Preparing your private spa is an integral part of the experience. Here, well-being begins with preparation. The bath is heated over a wood fire: simply light the hearth, add a few logs and let the heat build gradually. This waiting time becomes a ritual in its own right.
The ideal temperature is generally between 35 and 38°C, depending on your mood and the season. In the off-season, the contrast between cool air and warm water is particularly enveloping. In summer, you can also opt for slightly cooler water, for a softer, more relaxing break after a day out.
The Nordic bath is easy to use and quiet: no motor, no jets, no complex settings. Once the temperature has been reached, all that’s left to do is enjoy. Settle into the warm water, listen to the sounds of nature, let your muscles relax… you can enjoy the moment without restraint.
To get your stay off to a good start, a wood cart is provided, along with firelighters and matches. If required, wood can easily be replenished on site. To the north, the Côtes-d’Armor region offers the magnificent Pink Granite Coast between Perros-Guirec and Trébeurden, with its unique rock formations. The Sept-Îles archipelago, the medieval city of Dinan and Cap Fréhel are among the major sites.
